Trust the Unfolding

A day Retreat with Connie & Kelly

Sunday 1st November 10-5pm
Hackhurst Farm, Lower Dicker

Join us at the beautiful Hackhurst Farm in Lower Dicker for a nourishing day of movement, stillness, connection, sound, sauna, good food and community. A day to slow down, step away from the noise of everyday life, and reconnect with yourself.

A Little bit about us…

Kelly and I are close friends, and over the years we’ve found ourselves walking surprisingly similar paths. We’ve both experienced seasons of change, growth, uncertainty and having to surrender to the fact that life doesn’t always unfold in the way we expect it to.

Through our own journeys, our healing processes have run parallel and something that we both deeply resonate with is the practice of yoga, the importance of community, and the power of Kirtan - and we wanted to create a day that reflected the things that have genuinely supported us along the way.

Trust the unfolding was born from that shared experience.

So often, we find ourselves trying to force things into place. We push for outcomes, search for answers, rush towards the next thing and convince ourselves that we need to know exactly where we're going.

But what happens when we stop pushing?

When we give ourselves permission to pause, to breathe, to listen and to create a little more space?

Sometimes, it's in that space that something unexpected can emerge. A new perspective. A sense of clarity. A feeling we've been too busy to notice. Or simply the quiet knowing that we don't need to have everything figured out just yet.

There is something special that can happen when we slow down and open up space for life to unfold in its own time.

This retreat is an invitation to do exactly that.

The Schedule

10:00am - Opening Circle & Welcome Tea
Arrive, settle in and meet your retreat community over a cup of tea. We’ll open the space together and introduce the intention of the day.

11:00am - Morning Movement Therapy with Kelly
To start the day, Kelly will guide us through practices exploring nervous system regulation and tools for you to take home with you.

12:15pm - Lunch
A delicious, nourishing, vegetarian lunch is included, with time to eat, chat and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

1:30pm - Yin & Sound Healing with Connie
A deeply restorative afternoon practice. Sink into longer-held Yin postures, soften into stillness and allow the healing vibrations of sound to wash over you before being guided into a deeply restful Yoga Nidra.

2:30pm - Sauna Ritual with Gosia

Wonderful Gosia will be guiding us through a multi-sensory sauna ritual (Aufguss) to engage the whole body and all the senses. Experience waves of heat, steam infused with natural essential oils, music and traditional leaf whisking, creating a deeply grounding and restorative reset.

3:30pm - Tea & Cake
Because everything is better with cake! Enjoy a cup of tea and some relaxed time to connect to your fellow retreat friends.

4:00pm - Kirtan & Closing Circle with Connie & Kelly
We’ll gather one final time to close the day in our favourite way, through Kirtan. Kirtan is a beautiful way to connect through our voices, sink deeper into the heart and drop into a deep meditation.

Meet the team

Connie Rose

Connie is a 600hr yoga teacher, sound healer & Kirtan leader, passionate about creating spaces for movement, connection and deep rest.

Her yoga journey began at 18, when the practice became an anchor through a turbulent time in her life, navigating grief from a young age. After completing her first 200hr training in India in 2019, she returned in 2023 to deepen her practice and complete her 300hr training.

Today, Connie blends Vinyasa, Yin, Sound Healing and Bhakti, creating playful yet deeply nourishing experiences that invite you to reconnect with yourself, slow down and simply be.

Kelly Jarvis

Kelly is a Bhakti Yoga teacher and Yoga Therapist who shares her practice from the heart. Her offerings are deeply rooted not only in her studies, but in her own experiences of loss, grief, healing and transformation.

Having been guided by spiritual teachers and practices through some of life’s most challenging moments, Kelly now creates spaces where others can feel held, supported and connected - sharing the practices that have helped guide her own journey.

Gosia

At Trust the Unfolding, Gosia will guide you through a traditional-inspired sauna ritual.

Her journey began with a cold plunge during a difficult season of life, which brought her back into her body and into the present moment. Through nature, community and the rituals of heat and cold, she discovered a deeper sense of connection and began dreaming of creating spaces where others could experience the same.

She now owns her very own sauna in Sussex where she hosts regular sauna rituals.
